Art: Texture and color

In art we are learning about sculptures and texture. The idea that Texture can be felt and scene. Compared to the idea that a flat painting can give the illusion of texture. This was a simple idea that not only got the idea across, but was super fun!!!

We just made a batch of salt dough. The kids used items around the house to make different textured imprints.

Bakes at 325 for 1 hour.

The paint and GLITTER!!!! :D

After they dry we are going to hang them on strings to hang in their room. <3
