Mondays are a heavy

Work day. Chicken coops get cleaned, back yard maintenance in general. Kitchen is cooking heavy for the week. But it's always such a nice surprise to see the backyard give back. Eggs, produce and loyal protection from the dogs. I just love my backyard.

Today we found a new kind of egg. It wasent in a nest, it was on the ground. Light brown with speckles of brown. It was kind of a dainty egg too. We have our suspicions of who it is. We will see.

Today, I saw Hot Wing laying an egg in her nest. I bothered her, and she yelled at me to get out.
